Seabee Trevor J. Stanley

Constructionman Trevor J. Stanley, 22, of Virginia Beach, Va., died April 7 while deployed to Camp Lemonnier, Djibouti. Stanley, a Seabee, was assigned to Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 3, homeported in Port Hueneme, Calif. Stanley enlisted in the Navy in April 2009 and reported to the mobile construction battalion in November 2011. His personal awards include the National Defense Service Medal and the Pistol Marksmanship Medal. He began a six-month tour in Djibouti, Africa, in February. His unit is conducting humanitarian and civil affairs operations across the Horn of Africa and at Camp Lemonner.
