Pfc Lukas C. Hopper

Pfc Hopper was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 505th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He was in the humvee’s gunner seat when his vehicle flipped and rolled over in a non-combat related crash – He was less than two weeks away from the end of his deployment. His awards and decorations include the Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Oversees Service Ribbon, and Parachutist Badge.
