Tech Sgt Anthony C. Campbell, Jr., of Florence, Kentucky graduated from Boone County High School in 1992. In December 2008, he graduated the Cincinnati Police department’s recruit class and was assigned to Cincinnati Police District One. Anthony always had a desire to serve his his community. He was in the United States Air Force Reserves before he joined the Kentucky Air National Guard. He had been serving as a Police Officer only a few weeks before he was activated on July 6th of 2009 and deployed to Afghanistan. He also served in the Air Force from 1992-95. He and his wife, Emily, had two young children together. He also had a stepson. Sgt Campbell died at age 35 of wounds suffered from the detonation of an improvised explosive device in
