Army Staff Sgt. Samuel T. Castle of Naples, Texas was serving his second tour of duty in Iraq with the U.S. Army, and was a member of Love Chapel Baptist Church. He graduated from high school in 1996, excelled in baseball and football. He went to Tyler Junior College before joining the military and was going to make a career out of it. Survivors include his wife, a daughter, one son, parents, three sisters and a brother. He was 26.
