Staff Sgt Jesse Infante

Died: August 30, 2010 in Arghandab River Valley, Afghanistan
Staff Sgt. Jesse Infante of Cypress, Texas is a 1999 graduate of Sam Houston High School. He entered the Army in January of 2000 and had been in Afghanistan since late July 2010. He was previously in Iraq from December 2005 through December 2006. He was trained as an explosive ordnance disposal specialist. He leaves his daughter, Kassandra and an unborn son, his father and stepmother, Jesus and Nancy, three brothers, and a sister and his fiancee. He died at age 30 in the Arghandab River Valley, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked his unit with an improvised explosive device.
