Spc Viktar Vladimirovich Yolkin

Spc. Viktar V. Yolkin of Spring Branch, Texas came to America from Belarus, Russia in 1998. He enlisted in the Army in January 2003 despite his wifes efforts to dissuade him. He Loved the United States and was proud to serve his adopted country. For Viktar, it was very important for him to fight for the United States and fight for freedom. The couple had no children and he had no relatives in the United States. His funeral services were conducted in his native land, where his parents lived. Viktar was killed when his Bradley fighting vehicle overturned in Mohammed Sacran, Iraq. He was 24.
