Spc. Angel L. Lopez

al2 Spc. Angel L. Lopez, 27, of Parma, Ohio, died Oct. 5, 2013, in Zabul province, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire. He was assigned to the 201st Brigade Support Battalion, 3rd Infantry Brigade Combat Team, 1st Infantry Division, Fort Knox, Ky. Angel was one of nine children of a blended family. He was married with two children. He was a 2004 graduate of John Marshall High School and enlisted in the Army two years ago and was a mechanic in the Army.
