Sgt. Aaron M. Arthur of Lake City, South Carolina attended Lake City High School graduating in 2003. As a student he had a good attitude and kept himself surrounded by a good crowd. He joined the Army in November of 2003 and was currently serving as a transport operator. His Awards and Decorations include, the Global War on Terrorism Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal and Army Good Conduct Medal. Aaron died at age 25 north of Al Kut, Iraq, of injuries sustained during a vehicle roll-over.

    To the family I’m sorry for your lost of such a promising young man that I know would of went far in life period. However one thing is for sure you the family have a wonderful angel looking down at you at all times. I didn’t know or serve with SGT Arthur however I am still sadden with greif. You the family are truly in my prayers dwes

    R.I.P. Arthur. I remember when I first met you, down in NTC when I was driving the bus to Yermo. It was always non stop smack talking between us from then on. I will never forget you bro. Watch over the rest of us down here as I know you are. oh yeah “do some work for once, will ya” LOL. Gone but never forgotten
