Pfc. Andrew J. Keller, 22, of Tigard, Ore., died at age 22 in Charkh, Afghanistan when enemy forces attacked his unit with small arms fire. He was assigned to the 1st Battalion, 503rd Infantry Regiment, 173rd Airborne Brigade Combat Team, Caserma Ederle, Vicenza, Italy. He attended Southridge High School where he was a standout member of the football team, a team captain and a multi-sport varsity athlete.
