Birth: May 7, 1962 – Fargo, North Dakota
Died: January 24, 2004 – north of Fallujah, Iraq

Staff Sgt Hendrickson was assigned to the 957th Engineer Company, 130th Engineer Brigade, Army National Guard, Bismarck, North Dakota, attached to Task Force All American. He died when his convoy was attacked by an improvised explosive device. In July 1971, Ken’s family moved to Bismarck where he graduated in 1980 from Bismarck High School. In December 1989, he joined the North Dakota National Guard and graduated in December 1991 from the University of Mary with a bachelor of science in mathematics and a minor in secondary education.
