Lance Cpl. Robert A. Lynch of Louisville, Kentucky graduated from Seneca High School in Louisville in 2005, where he was a well liked member of the ROTC. Robbie could be a bit of a jokester, but he also had a serious side, and would be the first to jump in and stand shoulder to shoulder with you. Robbie had been in the Marines about 14 months and had been in Iraq about four months. His Awards and Decorations include, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, the Iraq Campaign Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, a Combat Action Ribbon, a Purple Heart Medal, and two Letters of Appreciation. He was a member of Eastside Praise Ministry Center. He leaves his parents, Angela R. Robinson and Mike A. Lynch Jr., two sisters, Melissa and Candace, brothers, Joey and Michael “Tony” Lynch and Randall Thompson. He died at age 20 while conducting combat operations in Rushidiyah, Iraq. Also killed were Cpl. James H. McRae of Springtown, Texas and Cpl. Matthew R. Zindars, of Watertown, Wisconsin. He leaves a brother, Michael

    i am the grand father of william bradley ritter i live here in louisville ky and knew roby through my grandson bardley who was in the r.o.t.c, at senica high ,where roby went to school and also, and was a member of the marines r.o.t.c. there too, just to say my grandson told me roby was a very very fine young man and loved his mom so very much and his family , and was a grate cadet , and was a very determend and hard working young man and was a perfectionest at everything he done ,and really and truely loved his marines .and just to say he will never be forgoten , i can asure everyone this young gentalman was exstreemly outstanding in everything he did are performed in . he was a remarkable young and . and a a outstanding marine who we all will remember the life he gave was for all that he loved ‘ his country ,his loveing wonderful family and his beloved united states marines god bless roby .
