Lance Cpl Joshua Thomas Twigg

Lance Cpl. Joshua T. Twigg of Clymer, Pennsylvania is a 2007 graduate of Penns Manor Area High School where he was a varsity football player and honors student. Josh was conscientious of others and always tried to make sure that those around him were enjoying themselves. After graduation he joined the United States Marines Corp in July of 2007. He was currently deployed to Afghanistan, having previously been deployed to Iraq from September of 2008 to April of 2009. He had been in Afghanistan since July of 2010. His Awards and Decorations include, the National Defense Service Medal, Iraq Campaign Medal and Global War on Terrorism Service Medal. Josh enjoyed fishing and hunting and was proud to be a Marine and serve his country. Josh enjoyed fishing and hunting, but especially spending time with those he cared about. He leaves his parents, Randy Sr. and Terri Twigg, two brothers, Randy and Aaron, a sister, Carolyn, and his girlfriend, Chrissy. He died at age 21 while conducting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan.
