Cpl. Aaron M. Faust

Cpl. Aaron M. Faust, 22, Louisville, Ky., died April 15 while supporting combat operations in Helmand province, Afghanistan. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C. Aaron attended DeSales High School in Louisville. He originally served as a food service specialist. He had just reenlisted for another four year tour of duty in March, and was being reassigned as a clerical specialist. His awards include the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, Afghanistan Campaign Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and NATO Medal-ISAF Afghanistan.

    To the Family of Cpl Faust,

    May God hold you and comfort each and everyone of you. Thank you for your sacrifice. Aaron rest in peace you sacrificed the ultimate to which we are very grateful. Rest with your brothers. Our family of Marines will keep all of you in our hearts and prayers.
