Spc Rian Christopher Ferguson

Died: December 14, 2003 near Al Asad, Iraq
Spc. Rian C. Ferguson of Taylors, South Carolina is a 2000 graduate of Riverside High School in Greer, South Carolina. During his junior and senior years at Riverside, he played basketball and ran track. After graduation, he worked at Winn Dixie and Burger King. Soon after graduating he enlisted in the United States Army, completing basic training at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri. He was killed at age 22 when he fell from the light medium tactical vehicle in which he was riding outside forward operating base Quinn, Iraq. He leaves his father, Jimmy L. Ferguson, his mother, Claudette Livingston Ferguson, and a brother, Reginald A. Ferguson.
