Spc Charles Scott Jirtle

Spc Charles S. Jirtle of Lawton, Oklahoma attended MacArthur High School. He was an indirect fire infantryman who entered the Army in July 2007 and arrived at Fort Campbell in November of 2007. His Awards and Decorations include, Army Achievement Medal (2 awards), National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Combat Infantry Badge, Driver and Mechanic Badge with Mechanic and Weapons Qualification, M4-(expert). Scott is survived by his wife, Savannah, two daughters, Cheyenne and Chelsie, a son, Jordan, and his parents, Terry L. and Virginia C. Jirtle. He and is wife were expecting their fourth child in early fall of 2010. He also leaves four brothers, Joseph, James, Kendall, and Anthony, and a stepbrother, Danny Henry.
