Sgt Jason David Jordan
Birth: July 17, 1979 – Elba, Alabama
Died: July 20, 2003 – Tal Afar, Iraq
Sgt Jordan was assigned to Headquarters Company, 1-187 Infantry Battalion, Fort Campbell, Kentucky. He was patrolling a village when his vehicle was ambushed by RPGs. Jason received a number of awards and decorations, including the Army Commendation Medal; the Army Achievement Medal with three oak leaf clusters; the Army Good Conduct Medal; the National Defense Service Medal; the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal; the NCO Professional Development Ribbon; the Army Service Ribbon; the Overseas Service Ribbon; the Expert Infantry man Badge; the Air Assault Badge; and Expert marksmanship badges for the M16 rifle and hand grenade. In July 2002, Jordan was re-assigned to the 101st Airborne Division and deployed March 1, 2003 to Kuwait in preparation for Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Hey Baby, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I love you and miss you so much. Life just isn’t right without you. Not a day goes by that your not thought about, you will always have my heart. I just wish I could be in your arms again, I would give anything for a chance to see you again if it were only for 5 minutes. I miss how you would hold me and rub your fingers in my hair.
